We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Director of Operations for FÖRENA — someone capable of combining on-site presence with strategic management to optimize operations and ensure an exceptional client experience.

YOUR MISSION

Under the supervision of the VP of Operations and in collaboration with the head office teams, you will oversee all operations at FÖRENA and lead a team of over 100 employees. You will ensure the site’s optimal performance, meeting financial objectives while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations management and on-site leadership:

  • Plan, organize, and optimize human and material resources;

  • Supervise and guide operational teams to ensure smooth and efficient service;

  • Maintain a balance between field presence and administrative management, acting as an accessible and inspiring leader.

Customer experience and service quality:

  • Continuously maintain and improve the client experience by ensuring high quality standards;

  • Work closely with the Customer Service and Spa Treatment Supervisors to offer a premium experience;

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop initiatives that drive traffic and customer satisfaction;

  • Be actively involved during peak periods and support supervisors and customer advisors when needed.

Facility maintenance and safety:

  • Oversee infrastructure management to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance;

  • In collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment management, and inventory tracking;

  • Manage subcontractor contracts and plan renovation projects in line with company needs.

Food service and events:

  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Director to ensure optimal service;

  • Supervise the events team and coordinate innovative event projects and ideas that help the company stand out and offer a greater variety of activities to clients.

Local marketing and development:

  • Implement local strategies to increase visibility and strengthen partnerships;

  • Create collaborations with nearby businesses and institutions to attract a diverse clientele.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or university diploma in tourism management, hospitality, or a related field;

  • 5 years of experience managing teams in tourism, hospitality, food service, or a similar sector;

  • Positive and proactive leadership, strong organizational and prioritization skills;

  • Motivated by achieving and surpassing objectives;

  • Excellent stress management and decision-making skills;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
